Personal Evangelism - Part 2

Since God has commissioned His church to evangelize and reach unbelievers we need to understand some things about the people we are attempting to reach.  We need to understand what it is that makes a church grow and what it is that makes a group of people decide that they want to become a member of a particular church.  The church is trying to reach a world that has an altogether different set of values than the church embraces.  Unbelievers can't relate to the church and often the church cannot successfully relate to them.  The solution is to create "points of entry" within the church.  The church may not be relevant, but the Church should be if it is doing what the Word of God teaches.  The unbeliever needs three reasons for attending church: salvation, fellowship, and they want a job in order to be needed and to feel a part.  This course will give insight to the possible reasons why new converts do no immediately become faithful to church attendance, and why some stay distant from the church—An important course of information for the church desiring to grow.

Principles of Prophecy

This course uses a systematic approach to prophecy by laying down principles and giving an overview of prophecy in the Old Testament.  Rather than relying on personal opinions in reference to the meaning of certain passages, applications of specific "laws" which govern prophecy are applied.  This course covers such topics as: principles of Biblical interpretation, literal interpretation, allegorical interpretation, progressive revelation, and prophetic anticipation.
